PFDW 83^rd ANNUAL CONVENTION

 

Hotel reservations:

Please note you must make your hotel reservations directly with the Sheraton Hotel by calling 800 325 3535 or 717 564 5511. The rate is $109.00 (plus applicable state and local taxes). The reservation deadline is May 20, 2010 at 5 pm for the convention rate.

 

Please make note of the following information:

 

PAC Auction Thursday, June 10^th  The money raised at this event is used to help women candidates who are seeking elected positions. We ask that each Board Member and each Club donate a gift for the auction with a value of $25.00 or more. Gifts will be collected at registration and should have the names of donors, district number and value attached. 

 

Main fundraiser sale of tickets for our fabulous annual basket raffle. Each of our 18 districts is asked to bring a basket of items. Therefore, each ticket sold will have 18 chances to win. Each District is responsible for the distribution of 200 tickets to their clubs. More tickets are available upon request. Baskets will be collected during registration and should indicate who the donors are and should have a list of enclosed items attached with an approximate value. 

 

Walk-a-thon Saturday morning, June 12, 7:00 am start. The Walk-a-thon serves as one of our important PAC fundraisers. Please support this event by circulating and collecting as many pledges as possible. Remember, you do not have to be a PFDW member to donate to or participate in this event. 

 

Program Booklet:  Inside this book you will find the final schedules and details of the Convention events. It is important that we collect advertisements to finance this project. Please make copies of the enclosed form and distribute them to as many elected officials, businesses, friends and club members as you can. We would also appreciate an ad from every club.
